It's time to Get-A-Way

Feels like we have all been looking to reclaim some of our lost year. We are searching for our new travel normal, but we have found some cool things on the horizon!

Now that Kanab is open, John and I have so much good stuff to share with you!
We spent our entire spring quarantine time, first of all - sewing over 5,000 face masks with my sister Deanna, and second - making plans on how to best serve our Vacation Rental guests when they finally got to return to this beautiful place.

We have been searching out the best deals and the best places in and around Kanab!

We are teaming up with a couple of tour companies to offer you the best deals. What would you like to do?

Howdy, We are John and Sherene McClellan from the Western Star Bungalow and Star Garage in Kanab Utah. (Collectively we are My Star Vacation Rentals)

You are receiving this note as a former guest or perhaps you have requested information but have not made it to our corner of Red Rock Country yet.

It has been a long hard spring and summer for most of us. But the Canyons are open and beautiful! Autumn is my favorite and we are looking forward to it.

We want to share some of our hidden places in and around this amazing area.

HIKE THE WAVE

Due to the Wave’s appeal – and its fragile nature, hiking permits are limited to only 20 lucky people a day.

10 online permits given out months in advance and 10 walk-in permits given the day before.

The lottery for walk-in permits has been on hold but now is back!

As of mid June, 2020, the 10 walk-in permits will be drawn by the Kane County Tourism Board at our all-new Kanab Convention Center (Right downtown East of Parrys Lodge. Go to the rear parking lot). This is no longer held at the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) office.
